The move supports BAC’s efforts to continuously improve the facilities at BIA with passenger convenience as a primary focus.

“As we push forth with our plans to upgrade and modernize BIA, we are taking proactive steps to improve key aspects of BIA that will undoubtedly have a positive impact on passenger comfort levels and overall travel experience. The parking facilities are one such example as this is the first point of contact between passengers and the terminal as it should reflect the same efficiency and quality of service as the rest of BIA”, stated Mr. Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, CEO of Bahrain Airport Company.

BAC FM also started re-training of all car park staff to create a more efficient and customer centric culture as well as introducing a new uniform that is more representable of the nation’s gateway to the world. The company have also been implementing a number of initiatives to enhance the car park facility which includes landscaping, painting, road markings, pavements, rebranding and other general improvements.

“We are proud to say that in the last few weeks, a number of developments have already been successfully implemented in the BIA car parks - the automated gate machines are all fully functional and overall facelifts to the car park premises are in progress. Our focus is to continuously improve the car park provisions at BIA and ultimately provide passengers and visitors with a service that is on par with that of international standards”, commented Mr. Udo Soicke, CEO of BAC Facility Management.
