New Headquarters Planned for Bahrain Airport Company

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), has revealed its plans to relocate into new Headquarters in the first quarter of 2016. The company will be shifting into the new head quarter offices located in the aviation compound opposite to BIA also home to Gulf Air’s head offices.

Bahrain’s Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications to inaugurate fifth annual Arab Aviation and Media Summit

Bahrain’s Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications H.E. Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed will inaugurate the two-day annual Arab Aviation and Media Summit 2015. The fifth edition of the summit will take place on the 7th & 8th of December 2015 in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s capital, Manama.

Bahrain Airport Company Hosts First Collaborative Decision-Making Seminar in the Middle East

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al Nemah, Acting Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) hosted the ICAO Seminar on Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) at the Moevinpick Hotel in Muharraq. The seminar was conducted by a team of experts from ICAO and other international organizations lead by Mr. Mohamed Khonji, Regional Director of ICAO Middle East Regional Office. The seminar is the first of its type to be organized by ICAO in the Middle East Region and the second worldwide.

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), proudly celebrated the company’s recent signing of a strategic partnership agreement with International Air Transport Association (IATA). This agreement recognizes BAC as a key member in IATA’s Strategic Partnership Program and positions the company as an integral contributor to setting industry standards and strategies.

BAC’s Legal Adviser listed on the GC Powerlist

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA) commended Mr. Fayyaz Mahmood, General Counsel at BAC, for being listed in the prestigious GC Power list: Middle East as one of the most accomplished and highly influential in-house legal counsels. Mr. Mahmood has been recognized as one of the top 100 high-caliber legal consultants in the region. A reception was held at the Emirates Towers in Dubai on 15 September to celebrate the leading GC’s in the Middle East where Mr. Mahmood was present.
